Today is the second day of Random Acts of Kindness Week. Seems appropriate for me to give some suggestions for Random Acts for this week. How about smiling at a stranger or two today? Why not let someone else have the close parking spot? Send uplifting thoughts and positive energy to someone going through a dark time. Give your children's outgrown clothing to a friend with younger children. How about deliberately replacing judgment with acceptance when you're tempted to find fault today? (Tough, but good for the soul.)
This Thursday 2/17/11 is our Monthly Meeting. It's at 7 p.m. at a member's home. If you are interested in learning more about Heartworks, this is a great way. Don't miss the Heartworks experience. Leave a comment if you would like info about the location. This month we are asking everyone to wear VERY COMFORTABLE CLOTHES. We are so beyond this need to impress everyone. Plus it'll shave a half hour off prep time, to just leave the house as you are. Plus you'll be all comfy and ready to feel the love at our meeting. Hey, maybe next month we'll have everyone bring Snuggies and blankets! (Just an idea.)
